One-to-one online consultation for those who need help clarifying ideas, finding inspiration, solutions to particular issues, or simply want a second opinion on their project.
Bespoke advice and curated recommendations based on your project, all without stepping out of your comfort zone.
As an introvert, I make the best-informed decision for myself when I have space to think, without any pressure to jump on calls or make decisions on the spot.
This is why I created a safe space for you, where you can feel comfortable sharing your needs with me so we can come up with ideas on how to transform your home.
Not everyone wants or has the time to “jump on a call”. Some people prefer a more flexible approach, with time to process the information received.
For this reason, you can choose how you want to experience this service. It can be through an online video call or written format (via emails and dedicated PDFs).
Examples of what we can cover:
Review your existing layout and explore alternative options to improve flow or function.
If you simply want a second opinion on your project’s layout or design that you’ve worked on with a different architect or another designer.
Come up with a general design direction (broad terms) for your project (covering colour, and materials).
Clarify your design direction to create a cohesive look that aligns with your lifestyle.
Discuss potential challenges early on in your design to help you avoid costly or unnecessary mistakes.
And many more.

One-Off Session
An online Questionnaire sent to you via email (that you can fill in on your own time). I kindly ask that you send it through 72 hours before our call, so that we can make the most of our time together on the call.
60 minutes online call where we talk through the issues shared in the questionnaire and any other questions you might have.
A “Follow-Up” Document that will include my recommendations and any info I believe will be helpful to your issue.
**If applicable - Dedicated General Mood Board(s) to help define a specific design look (if that is what you are looking for). **
How it works
1. You fill out a detailed questionnaire about your home, your current issues, design dilemmas, goals, or a particular issue you want us to focus on.
2. Send some photos, a floor plan or a video walkthrough. These are optional, but they would be really helpful to give me an idea of your space and create tailored solutions.
3. We have our call together, or if you opted for the Email Design Consultation option, you’ll receive a tailored design response within a few days, via email, with my thoughts on your particular design dilemma.
4. If you opted for the Email Design Consultation option. You can ask up to 2 follow-up emails with questions. This is to give you the option to clarify any questions you might have, just like we would on the call – but on your own schedule.
**Email Design Consultation is perfect for:
Introverts and neurodivergent people who are not comfortable on video calls.
Busy professionals or parents who cannot afford to set aside 60 minutes during the week.
Anyone who needs time to process, understand, digest or revisit the advice before making any decisions.
People whose native language is not English and prefer to read rather than speak, to ensure they understand everything we’ve talked about.

Price: One-Off Session - £250;

You can choose how you want to experience this service. It can be either:
Online video call or
Email Design Consultation (for those with a busy schedule or who are not comfortable being on camera).
Regardless of your choice, you receive a dedicated, informative PDF document with all the advice in one place.
Delivery
After our online call, depending on the complexity of the issue at hand, the size and complexity of the room or property, etc., you can expect your dedicated follow-up document
Within 5 to 7 days, up to a couple of weeks;
A couple of weeks for the email option.
Delivery: online, straight to your inbox.
Good to know
You can choose how you wish to experience this service, either through an online video call (followed up by a written document) or through written format via email.
All information is provided to you via email, in a PDF format so that you can go through everything at your own pace (and have everything in one place).
For the Email Design Consultation option, you have up to 2x follow-up question emails that you can use within 10 working days from the date booked as the service date.
Communication
Communication is done via email, during business hours Monday to Thursday between 10:00 and 17:00, and Friday between 10:00 and 13:00.
The questionnaire will be emailed to you after booking and payment is received.
Please send it through 72 hours before our call or the booked date, if the email option is selected, so that I can research and provide the best solutions for your particular issue.
Design Consultation FAQ

You simply share what your design dilemmas are. I go away, do the research for you, prepare a few ideas to talk through on our call.
If you opted for written format only, I’ll create a dedicated PDF filled with info, and send it back to you
It is as simple as that!
I will also send you a dedicated questionnaire prior to our call or starting date (the the written option) designed to help me understand your preferences, style, and budget for your project.

Depending on the complexity of the issue at hand, the size and complexity of the room or property, etc., you can expect to receive the follow up document:
Within 5 to 7 days up to a couple of weeks;
For the Email Design Consultation a couple of weeks;
Delivery: online, straight to your inbox.

Payment in full is required upon booking the service. A starting date will be agreed upon, to make sure it suits both our availability and your project timeline.

If you wish to cancel your purchase before our online call, a full refund will be issued, no questions asked.
I do however, kindly ask that you let me know at least 48 hours in advance.
Due to the nature of this service, if you wish to cancel after we had our call, you will no longer be entitled to a refund.
If, in the case of the written email option, you wish to cancel after the design process has begun (meaning you sent all the information required and paid), and 3 days have passed, you will no longer be entitled to a refund.
This is in order to protect Detail Movement's time and commitments to our other clients who have purchased our services and for Detail Movement to maintain the standard and quality of our design services.
